HAPPY OWNERS

OWNERS WHO GAVE US THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO WHAT WE LOVE!

                                                                                       Ryder

"We all have decisions in life that are good. Then there are others that are so good that we share them with anyone that will listen. Carolina Canine Training was one of those decisions for us. Ryder was a two-year-old rescue when we got him and needed some help. After several training sessions with Liz, Ryder is a completely different dog now. He is still protective but in a much different and now controlled way. In our opinion, every dog needs Liz’s touch. Whether your dog needs a simple tune-up or a complete rebuild, you will not once feel like you wasted your time or money!"                                 -Karen & Mark - Huntersville, NC

"We contacted Carolina Canine Training upon a recommendation of a friend to see if they could help us with the behavior of our rescued 2-year-old dog. It was obvious that Buster had not received any training and the basic commands we tried to teach to improve his behavior just didn’t stick. He was a great dog, but our struggles included his inability to mix with humans and other dogs, stay upon command and was impossible to enjoyably walk on a leash. Basically, Buster ruled the roost. Liz’s no non-sense approach changed everything about Buster’s behavior yet didn’t affect his fun and loving personality. The dog she brought back after training, is much happier and so are we! Walking him in now effortless, “placing” is instant and he now follows many commands and is no longer ruling the household. Liz guaranteed that after training we would be much happier family and she was right. (People are amazed and comment about how well he follows commands in our home and while in public.) Liz trained our dog, educated us and we continue to enjoy a well-behaved part of the family that continues to learn commands 4 years after his initial training. CCT is the best in the business!!” -Jeff & Robyn - Mooresville, NC

Duchess & Duke

"Liz, I wanted to take a moment to THANK YOU for taking on Duke and Dutchess! Tonight, I experienced what I was thinking would never happen. I took Duke for a walk and the entire time he stayed by my side, and I did not have to give him any corrections. He also ignored three barking dogs whose owners were struggling to keep them under control. I almost wanted a blinking sign on my back saying "Call Carolina Canine!" Without your expertise and the confidence you instilled in me we would not be at this point, it has only been two weeks and I have noticed a difference. Words cannot express how grateful we are."   -Grace - Davidson, NC

I wish we would have come to Carolina Canine Training years ago! Within the first day, my dog made HUGE gains in his behavior. I think the majority of the training was not even for Cooper, it was for me to learn how to communicate more effectively with him so that expectations were clear. Liz was such a great teacher! Her directions were clear and effective, and she really made learning fun. I would recommend Carolina Canine to anyone who wants a better-behaved, responsive dog. There is hope!  -Patricia - Charlotte, NC

Xander

Xander

Thank goodness for Carolina Canine Training! Xander our 100% Doberman started with CCT in April of 2010 when he was 4 months old. I went to the beach - he went for the week of training. When I returned he was an almost perfect little gentleman. We had our "teenage" touchup training when he thought he knew best. Now he comes when called, stays at place, walks on the leash, etc. with no problems. Even when walking at Birkdale, Xander is so calm and good - never barking, pulling or misbehaving - unlike lots of other dogs there. He still goes to "play day" each week to play with his pals - and they are all sizes. This socialization has been the best thing of all - he comes home so tired from playing and gets along so well with other dogs. Can you tell we REALLY REALLY love CCT? So does Xander - we only have to say "Liz" and he's at the door ready to go. So, I guess his is the best recommendation of all.  - Dawn & Billy - Huntersville, NC

Spartacus

Liz did an awesome job of training Spartacus - our cockapoo - and us! What they do at CCT is everything a dog owner would want - they truly love what they do, and it shows in how they help dogs be such great family members and how Spartacus loves going there for socializing and training with other dogs. I could not imagine having a dog without them. - Cindi & Abe -Huntersville, NC

Liz has been wonderful for helping my dogs to get along. Since working with CCT I have been able to not only prevent a lot of issues by meeting each dog's needs better, but also by learning to tell when they are unhappy and preventing a fight before it starts. I was really afraid that I would have to give one of my dogs back to a rescue before Liz came over. Now not only do my dogs get along but they are very tolerant with my toddler, too! CCT really helped them to adjust to having a little one in the house, and I just can't thank them enough for everything they did to help my 4-legged children. - Katherine L.

To think where we would be without Liz at Carolina Canine Training is scary! Like everyone else we got a puppy and thought we could manage with the training ourselves with just a typical puppy class. You know the story...Life got in the way and our efforts were just not making the cut...it was time to turn to a Professional! Thinking about leaving our "baby" in the care of someone else for 4 whole weeks was a bit scary at first! As soon as Banks met Liz and seemed to just melt around her all of our fears were quickly gone! Liz has the presence where dogs just know to respect her :). 4 weeks later Banks was walking on a leash well enough for a toddler to walk him had learned how to "place" on his bed and went into his kennel with ease. He no longer jumped all over us and had a sense of calm about him we had never seen before. I only wish I would have taken a Before video as the changes were that remarkable. Banks is a very smart dog, but we were very amazed at the things he was able to master in his 4 weeks at Carolina Canine Training. I can't recommend this team enough and am so thankful we have a place to send our next puppy!! I wonder if that take kids too? ;) Oh, and we loved all of the updates we received via email, text and phone. I'm pretty sure the hardest part of dog training might be dealing with the parents! -Meredith - Sacramento, CA
